These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of BetterDementia.com and any related services, including the Better Dementia™ course and digital educational materials (collectively, the “Services”).
The Services are operated by Amy Shaw LLC, doing business as Better Dementia™ (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing the website or enrolling in any course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are using the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Educational Purpose Only
The Better Dementia™ course and all related materials are provided for educational purposes only.
They do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and do not create a clinician–patient relationship.
You should consult appropriate healthcare professionals regarding individual medical decisions.
3. Course Access and License
When you enroll in the Better Dementia™ course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course materials.
Permitted Use
- Personal use by the enrolled individual
- Use by immediate family members within the same household who are involved in caregiving
Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Share your login credentials
- Distribute, copy, record, or reproduce course videos or materials
- Upload or share course content publicly or privately
- Use the course for staff training, group viewing, organizational education, or professional instruction
- Provide access to individuals outside your household
Organizational, professional, facility, or employer use requires a separate written license agreement.
Unauthorized sharing or misuse may result in termination of access without refund.
4. Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Services—including videos, written materials, frameworks, graphics, and branding—is the intellectual property of Better Dementia™ and Amy Shaw, PA-C.
These materials are protected by copyright and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
5. Payments and Refunds
All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.
Unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase, all sales are final and non-refundable.
6. Accuracy of Information
The Services are provided for general educational purposes. We do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.
Your use of the Services is at your own discretion and risk.
7. Modifications to Services
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice.
